The teenager now facing trial as an adult for gunning down a classmate at Greenville County's Tanglewood Middle School two years ago, was in court today for arraignment on a murder charge.
In March, a state court judge ruled that Jordan Williams, Jr. should be tried as an adult for shooting Jamari Jackson in a hallway in 2022. He died several days later. They were both twelve years old at the time.
Thursday afternoon Willams, Jr. pled not guilty to the murder charge. He will be booked into the Greenville County Detention Center then transported back to the Dept. of Juvenile Justice in Columbia after the Judge denied bond.
Williams, Jr.'s next court date has yet to be set.
