Greenville Police are investigating a shooting at Haywood Mall. Officers responded Wednesday afternoon after a report of teenagers assaulting a restaurant employee at the Food Court. The fight continued outside in the parking lot, where shots were fired, no injuries were reported.
While responding to the scene, police made a traffic stop of the juveniles that were involved in the mall brawl. A gun was recovered and several were detained. 18-year-old Ny’Lan Harris was arrested and charged with aggravated breach of peace.
Police say additional charges may be filed against other suspects involved in the incident as that investigation continues.
