A drug arrest in Western North Carolina turned into an animal rescue. The Asheville Police Department says they were dispatched for a welfare check and found a man in his car using fentanyl, meth was also found in the vehicle.
Police identified the suspect as Buddy Otvos, during a search of the car, a cat was found. Officers kept the cat comfortable until Animal Services came to pick the cat up.
