Nearly a dozen people are facing charges after a 9 year old boy was shot and killed in Chesterfield County, over the weekend. Deputies responded to the Blue Sky Convenience Store in Pageland, around 1:30AM Sunday.
When deputies arrived they found a 9 year old boy who had been shot in the face. The Sheriff's Office says the believe two teenage boys were meeting there to fight.
Of the 11 people charged, three were adults, one was a 17 year old who is being charged as an adult. The other seven were between 13 and 16 years old.
28 year old, James Jordan and 17 year old, Bryson Deese are both facing murder and a list of other charges. 37 year old, James Langley and 35 year old, Raven Deese who were charged with homicide by child abuse, fatal assault by mob and other charges.
A 14 year old and a 15 year old are both charged with fatal assault by mob. Five other teens from 13 to 16 years old have been charged with murder, fatal assault by mob and a list of other charges.
The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office has not yet released details on exactly how the incident unfolded.
