Charges against an Upstate man have been upgraded to murder following a fight last month. The Greer Police Department says, 25 year old Jacob Alexander Hill of Inman now faces a murder charge after an altercation on March 13th.

The incident between Hill and the victim Joshua Wilbanks happened on McDaniel Avenue in Greer. Wilbanks was severely injured and was taken to Prisma Greenville for treatment. Wilbanks died from his injuries on March 30th. The original charge of Attempted Murder against Hill was upgraded following his death.
