Three suspects are in custody after an Upstate shooting left a child dead and two others injured.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to the Belle Meade Apartments on Fleetwood Drive around 5:30 Friday evening.
Upon arrival, deputies found multiple victims on scene. Two of them were twin 5-year-olds, and the other an 18-year-old.
One of the twins, 5-year-old Brite Shalom Acoy, was killed in the shooting; the other is said to be in critical condition. The 18 year old was also hospitalized, but is expected to survive.
Investigators have arrested 31 year old Shawnteza Lashay Sherman with murder, attempted murder and conspiracy. Sherman was denied bond in a Saturday hearing.
A 16-year-old was arrested at an apartment Saturday and charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Another juvenile was also charged with a weapons-related offense for possessing a firearm while under the age of 18. Both will be held at the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
