A Clemson University employee has been fired for inappropriate comments regarding the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Over the weekend, the University said they had suspended the professor while investigating the comments made on social media.
That came after political leaders and students complained. On Monday afternoon, Clemson released a statement saying they terminated an employee.
The University says two other faculty members have been removed from their teaching duties in connection to the investigation. Clemson officials have not released the name of the employee or any further details, as of this time.
