An Upstate cold case murder is now said to be solved, nearly 30 years later. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says that the murder of Richard Martin almost three decades ago, has now been confidently deemed as solved.
Martin was found dead along Welcome Road near I-85 in September of 1995. His mother Ada Martin has been working with detectives in the Crime Stoppers Program since.

Anderson County Sheriff Chad McBride is scheduled to reveal more details in the case at a press conference Tuesday at 10AM.
