One person is dead and another is injured after multiple vehicles hit a cow on an Upstate highway. The crash happened around 7:15 Tuesday morning on Highway 20 in Abbeville County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a truck driving westbound hit a cow that was in the roadway. An SUV and a car then also hit the cow. The driver of the SUV was injured and was transported to the hospital.
The driver of the car died from their injuries. The Abbeville County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 52 year old, Amy Ward of Abbeville.
