An investigation has been launched following the death of an Upstate child.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office said the seven-year-old child was found at her home last week unconscious and not breathing.
The child was taken to the hospital, where they died on Saturday.
Several other agencies are also participating in the investigation, which is still in its early stages, including the Anderson Police Department, South Carolina Department of Social Services and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Special Victims Unit.
