A decorated and high profile combat veteran was in the Upstate to speak in support of Presidential hopeful Ron Desantis, Thursday afternoon.
Kevin Lacz also known as "Dauber" has known Ron Desantis since the two served in the U.S. Nay Seals together. Lacz was a member of the same unit as combat hero Chris Kyle, who inspired the "American Sniper" book and movie.
"Dauber" was on hand at the Desantis campaign event at Anderson University, Thursday afternoon. He spoke about what it was like to serve with Desantis.
Lacz played himself and served as a Technical Advisor in the 2014 film American Sniper. Hear his comments from Thursday below.
