An Investigator with the Department discovered Wednesday, January 22, 2025, while searching social media platforms, equipment that appeared to be for law enforcement use was for sale. Diving a little deeper, the seller was found to be Deputy Page.

According to the Sheriff, Investigators set up a time and location to make a purchase.  While on duty and in a county vehicle, Page was present at the transaction. Mayo was identified as also being involved in previous transactions.

An angered Sheriff Lott said in a statement “They have tarnished the badge, and the trust of their brothers in blue, and I will do whatever it takes to ensure they never work in law enforcement again.”

Both Page and Mayo were terminated January 23, 2025 and booked into the Alvin S. Glen Detention Center January 29, 2025.
