A moped driver is dead after a single vehicle crash in Anderson County. The wreck happened around 9:30 Friday morning on Broadway school Road about 7 miles North of Anderson.
Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver crossed the centerline, ran off the road and hit a ditch. The man then was thrown off the moped and died at the scene of the crash.
