An arrest announced of a Seneca man on drug and weapon charges following a traffic stop.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Marty Allen Crawford was arrested Friday following a defective equipment traffic stop.
During the traffic stop, a P.A.C.E. (Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement) deputy received permission to conduct a search, which resulted in the discovery of roughly 10 grams of Methamphetamine and additional narcotics, as well as a firearm that was previously reported stolen.
Crawford was arrested and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center Friday afternoon on one charge each of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of a Stolen Firearm and is currently being held on a combined $45,000 personal recognizance bond.
