Two separate drug raids in North Georgia put a dent in drug trafficking and resulted in two suspects in custody. The Stephens County Sheriff's Office says 65 year old, Gary Marvin English was charged with trafficking meth and weapons violations.
Deputies discovered more than 8 ounces of meth, almost 3 pounds of marijuana and nearly two dozen guns.
In Hart County, a search of a home in Hartwell uncovered over 950 ecstasy pills, nearly 3 pounds of marijuana and a gun in the house.
45 year old, Johnny LaQuintin Carter charged with trafficking ecstacy, intent to distribute marijuana and multiple weapons violations. Additional charges against Carter are pending.
