An elderly Westminster man is facing nearly a dozen total counts of child sex crimes. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says, 76 year old, Anthony Carl Michaud was arrested last week on 10 counts of 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
The investigation into Michaud started last year after a cyber tip line report. The Sheriff's Office says evidence gathered at his home led to the charges against Michaud. Investigators say he possessed files that depict child sexual abuse.
The investigation continues and potential additional charges could be forthcoming.
