An elderly woman is dead after a crash in Greenwood County. The crash happened around 5:45, Thursday evening on Highway 25 near Burgess Drive.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a pick up truck and Toyota sedan collided while traveling in different directions. The truck ran off the side of the road and hit a ditch. The sedan ran off the road, into a private driveway.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 74 year old Shirley Berry of Ninety-Six.
