The search is on for an exotic cat that was stolen from an Upstate animal sanctuary, last month. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says an African Serval Cat was taken from Izzie's Pond Sanctuary, July 10th.
A former employee of the sanctuary 20 year old, Bennett Van Every has been charged with Grand Larceny in connection to the incident.

The Sheriff's Office is still looking to locate the animal and says the cat could have been taken out of the state already. Anyone with info on the case is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 260-4400
