The family of a man who died while being treated at a Low Country hospital has been awarded a settlement of nearly a million dollars. The family sued the Orangeburg Regional Medical Center after the man died during treatment.
The suit says Irvin Kenly passed after a catheter was misplaced inside him, which led to his death. The medical center has settled on a $900,000 payout to Kenly's family.
