An investigation is ongoing after a fatal officer-involved shooting in the Low Country. The incident happened in North Charleston Tuesday night. The North Charleston Police responded to the scene, and was there working into early Wednesday morning.
The Coroner's Office there says that Winston Dunham from Charleston died at the scene this morning on Dorchester Road from multiple gunshot wounds.
SLED has been called in to investigate, which is standard protocol in all officer involved shootings, statewide.
