The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has identified the pedestrian who died last night in the Upstate.
The crash occurred Monday night when a pedestrian was attempting to cross South Pine Street near Whitestone-Glendale Road.
36-year-old Anthony Devaughn Allen of Roebuck was hit just before 12:30AM and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. No charges have yet been filed against the driver.
