Father charged after baby experiences cardiac arrest

A father is facing charges after a baby was hospitalized in the Upstate. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office and Emergency personnel responded to a home in Williamston around 6AM Wednesday.

Upon arrival a 2 month old baby was found in cardiac arrest. The infant was taken to the Greenville Memorial where injuries consistent with possible abuse were found.

The baby's father Randon Avery Rolback has been charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.

Sheriff's Office Major Andy Tribble said Thursday morning in a statement that the infant was still be treated in the pediatric intensive care unit.
