A Myrtle Beach Pastor has been indicted on federal charges following the death of his estranged wife. In April of last year, Mica Miller was found dead in North Carolina. Her death was ruled a suicide.
Now, a grand jury has returned an indictment on her husband John Paul Miller. He's facing charged for cyberstalking his wife and for making false statements to federal agents during the investigation.
The indictment says Miller had sent harassing messages to his wife from 2022 until her death. Court records the stalking behavior included Miller posting a nude photo of his wife online without her permission. He also allegedly was behind having tracking devices placed on her vehicle.
John Paul is accused of hiring a private investigator to aid in his efforts, he's also accused of interfering in Mica's finances. Investigators say, John Paul lied to investigators when interrogated. Miller faces a possible total of 7 years in federal prison if convicted.
