A "holy roller" will likely be rolling into court after being accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a Christian school in the Upstate. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says 45 year old, Tyler McGatha is charged with Breach Of Trust of over $10,000 dollars. Her arrest stems from an investigation into financial misconduct during her tenure as Director Of The Covenant Church Academy in Greer.
Investigators say, McGatha manipulated payroll records by fraudulently padding employee hours. Warrants say, the investigation determined Mcgatha had done that for about 6 years.
Officials also say, McGatha took cash payments from new enrollees to guarantee their placement and never turned the money into the school. She's also accused of making personal purchases with the church's credit card.
