A now former eomployee of an Upstate school district is facing child sex crme charges. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says, 27 year old Marquis Dequavious Hunter of Seneca was arrested last Friday, on three counts of 1st degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Hunter was an employee of the Oconee County School District where he served as a teacher's aid, substitute teacher and JV Boys Basketball Coach. The investigation began last month when a school resource officer was informed of an inappropriate relationship between Hunter and a teenager. Investigators say, they found that Hunter had multiple videos on his phone of him and the teenager engaged in sexual conduct.
Hunter was booked into the Oconee County Jail and since has been released on a $75,000 bond. The exact age of the victim has not been revealed and will not be as the Sheriff's Office doesn't release any info on minor victims.
