A former Upstate daycare employee is now facing criminal charges after a report of child abuse.
As we previously reported, the Spartanburg Police Department announced Wednesday that a report had been file regarding child abuse at the First Baptist Church Daycare.
A parent told police that a video had been recorded in March showing the employee Karon Corbin picking up a 3 year old and throwing them to the ground during nap time.
Corbin is charged with unlawfully placing a child at risk. She has also been fired from the daycare.
