A former firefighter in Western North Carolina will spend time behind bars after pleading guilty to the rape of a teenage girl. The Buncombe County District Office says 33 year old, David Brandon Wilson of Black Mountain entered a guilty to plea to a charge of 2nd degree rape, Monday.
Court records say that back in 2018, Wilson picked up a 15 year old girl, gave her alcohol and sexually violated her without consent. The DA's office says the girl tried to fight Wilson off and scratched him multiple times in an effort to get free, but was unable to. A medical exam of the victim provided a match to Wilson's DNA. Wilson will spend somewhere between 4 and 10 years in prison.
