Four suspects are facing charges after a drug raid in Western North Carolina, Wednesday. The Asheville Police Department stopped a vehicle leaving a house that was under investigation.
25 year old Deonte Sincere Gardner was found with over a half an ounce of fentanyl. He's charged with trafficking fentanyl and other drug charges. A subsequent search of the house uncovered nearly half a pound of marijuana, a fentanyl press, four guns and over 7,600 dollars in cash.
Three suspects were then arrested including 22 year old, Lawrence Sincere Gardner, he's charged with maintaining a home to distribute a controlled substance.
24 year old, Rasheed Jahaad Grant is charged with that same crime, in addition to possession of a stolen and a weapons violation.
22 year old, Damion Smith Jr. is charged with intent to distribute marijuana. Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges could follow.
