The Tryon North Carolina International Indoor Complex continues to serve, as recovery efforts continue post Hurricane Helene, by providing free supplies to community members.

In a press release from Tryon Equestrian Properties President, Sharon Decker, the Complex, located at 2676 John Shehan Road in Tryon,  is open 12p-4p through Sunday Oct. 13, 2024 for those in need to pick up supplies INCLUDING pet and livestock items.

Limited showers and laundry facilities are available at the Lodging Office and FREE Hot Meals are being provided by World Central Kitchen and Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ during that 4 hour block near the main entrance.

Donations of hay and livestock feed are still being accepted by The Tryon International Indoor Complex. Information on how to contribute monetarily can be found below:

"DONATIONS:
We are only accepting animal and livestock donations at this time. Please follow up with media@tryon.com if you have previously arranged for a donation this week, and we will either continue with the delivery or make plans to route donations to the biggest area of need.

VOLUNTEER:
Volunteers are needed to help organize and distribute supplies daily from 11am-4pm. View the volunteer sign up form here. In the last few days, hundreds of volunteers have mobilized to help support relief efforts, and we are so grateful. The need continues, but the response of our community is strong.

DONATE FUNDS ONLINE:
Tammy Tappan of Equestrian Artists of Tryon, hosted at Tryon International Equestrian Center year-round, has teamed up with a group of her closest friends and clients to raise funds to directly help known families in need. The first $50,000 raised will be generously matched by one of Tammy’s clients from New Jersey. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to known, local families, and the fund allocation will be transparent. Local families will be able to apply for aid starting Monday.
