A shooting in the Upstate that left one person wounded is under investigation. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on Horseshoe Lane in Walhalla about a mile off of Highway 11.
The incident happened around 7:20 Friday night. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head, he was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The Sheriff's Office has not announced any arrests, but does say they have identified a person of interest in the case. There's been no update on the victim's condition.
