A Georgia teenager is in custody after being charged for shooting at a Deputy in Aiken County, in late 2022.
Now 17 year old suspect Robert McBride of Augusta is accused of trying to gun down the deputy with a pistol during an incident in Beech Island. The Deputy suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, but survived.
McBride was fleeing deputies after being charged with fatally shooting a man at a gas station in Augusta. McBride is charged with 5 counts of attempted murder and multiple weapons violations.
