The Greenville Police Department says, one of their officers was one of five who died in a two-vehicle collision in the Upstate. As we previously reported, the crash happened when a Ford SUV and Toyota SUV collided on Highway 101 in Spartanburg County, just before 1AM Friday.
Officials say the driver and passenger in the Ford died, the driver and two passengers in the Toyota were also killed. The five who died in the crash have now been identified as 35 year old, police sergeant Ashley Munoz, 64 year old Arturo and 62 year old Maria Munoz, 50 year old, Deborah Sue Wyatt and 46 year old, Max Douglas Wyatt.
Police Sergeant Diana Munoz was also in the Toyota and was injured severely. She was airlifted to a hospital and is said to still be in critical condition.
