A major automaker has announced expansion to its Upstate workforce. BMW has announced they are adding 200 new jobs at their Spartanburg plant. They also are adding a new press shop to their existing facility, the new two hundred thousand plus square foot addition is expected to begin production in 2024. The announcement was made at the South Carolina Automotive Summit in Greenville Wednesday. Governor McMaster spoke at the event and talked about the business growth the state is experiencing.
