
The Greenville County School District named it's Teacher Of The Year and other award winners Thursday morning during a ceremony at the Greenville Convention Center.
Multi-Language Teacher Lindsay Zika is this year's award winner. She has worked at Greenville High Academy since 2019 after teaching stints in California, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Belize.
Crystal Chappell l of Monaview Elementary finished 2nd. With, Erin Wilson of Bell's Crossing Elementary and Issac West of Hollis Academy finishing 3rd and 4th, respectively.
The district also named Emily Martin of Kerns Elementary as its top 1st Year Teacher, with Mauldin High's Leilani Fletcher coming in 2nd.
Mackenzie Stewart of Skyland Elementary won the Emerging Teacher Of The Year with Elizabeth Leeder from Woodmont Middle getting 2nd.
