Greenville Sheriff’s Office Deputies Mark Harden and Colin Price both received the Russ Sorrow Memorial Award on Wednesday at the 2021 Crime Stoppers of Greenville Award luncheon.
The award is given in honor of Officer Russ Sorrow and other Greenville County Officers whos’ lives were lost while serving the community.
Harden and Price both received the award for their efforts in saving a woman from a burning vehicle following an accident on Augusta Road in April earlier this year.
In a statement on their Facebook page, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said, “It is without question that these deputies quick and decisive actions saved the life of this woman and their brave actions were awarded through the presentation of this award.”
