A Greenville man will spend the next 4 decades behind bars after killing an Upstate teenager. As We previously reported, The Simpsonville Police Department responded to the Tipsy Taco on Fairview Road in October 2021.
17 year old, Elijah Smith was shot while inside a car, he was transported to the hospital where he later died. The shooter, 22 year old Sagin Riley Willasch pleaded guilty Thursday of charges of murder and attempted armed robbery.
Court records state that Willasch was trying to rob somebody else, when he shot Smith. He's been sentenced to 40 years in prison and will not be eligible for parole
