A group of teenagers has been arrested following a series of shootings in the Upstate. The Greenwood Police Department says the 1st shooting happened February 12th at a movie theater. Officers responded and found a 15 year old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
In the following days, two more shootings happened at Greenwood's Brook Stuart Apartment Complex. Investigators determined that the incidents were related and part of an ongoing feud between two groups of teenagers. Five teenage boys ranging in ages from 13 to 16 have been charged in connection to the shootings.
Police say a stolen shotgun, a rifle and a handgun were recovered in their investigation. The identities of the five teenagers have not been released due to them being underage. All 5 were taken to a Department of Juvenile Justice facility in Columbia.
