The Upstate's only commercial airport has recently gained notoriety after receiving multiple awards. GSP airport has been named the Best Small Airport in North America by the Airports Council International or ACI.
The other awards GSP was selected for include, Airport with the most dedicated staff, easiest journey, most enjoyable and cleanest airport. GSP was named the winner of those 5 awards beating out competition from all over North America.
GSP Airport District CEO Dave Edwards said " It is an honor to be recognized by those that chose GSP to meet their air travel needs in 2022. GSP shares this honor with the thousands of individuals working across the airport who consistently deliver an outstanding customer experience.”
