The Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal collision in southern Anderson County.
Trooper Joe Hovis says the crash occurred on SC Highway 81 about three miles north of Starr around 6AM Tuesday morning.
The driver of a 2018 Kia crossed the centerline and struck a 2000 Ford SUV head on.
The driver of the Kia was not seat belted and died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was injured and taken by EMS to AnMed in Anderson for treatment.
The name of the driver that died has not been released by the Anderson County Coroner's Office.
