
Homeland Security agents are reportedly investigating a Mexican restaurant in the Upstate. Agents responded to Puerto Nuevo Restaurant in West Union, Wednesday morning.
The investigation is said to center around allegations of human trafficking. Initial reports claim that a number of children were found sleeping inside the restaurant. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office and the West Union Police Department is assisting in the investigation.
