The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the intersection of Berry Shoals and Duncan Reidville Roads beginning Friday, June 5, 2026. The intersection will be transformed into a roundabout.

Columbia, S.C. (June 2, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the intersection of Berry Shoals and Duncan Reidville Roads in Spartanburg County beginning June 5 as part of a roundabout construction project.
Weather dependent, the intersection is scheduled to reopen within three months.
Detour routes are shown in green, while local traffic routes are highlighted in yellow on the map [above].
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
