The phrase "you don't see that everyday" comes to mind for residents in one Upstate neighborhood. A hot air balloon made an unexpected landing in a subdivision in Easley, Wednesday morning.

The balloon had reportedly left from Tennessee and needed to find a place to land. The pilot spotted the subdivision while descending and was able to safely land the balloon in a field behind houses on Ashwood Way.

The landing went smooth and no injuries were reported.
