Ingles and Kellogg partnering to raise milk donations for Harvest Hope Food Bank

As we saw in our look at homelessness in South Carolina earlier this year, food insecurity is a major issue impacting the state.

In an effort to combat this issue, Ingles and Kellogg have partnered together to host a month-long event during the month of May to raise milk donations to donate to Harvest Hope Food Bank.


“During the month of May, individuals can stop by and donate a gallon of fresh milk, and that milk’s going to be transported to the Harvest Hope Food Bank and distributed to local families,” said JD Stone, or Stoneman as you may know him from our sister station Classic Rock 101.1. “Ingles is also going to match all store donations of milk up to 1,500 gallons as part of this community initiative.”

Stoneman will be hosting his show at the Ingles location at 1335 Stallings Road in Greenville on Thursday the 18th as part of this initiative.

Donations are being accepted there along with various other Ingles locations around the Greenville area. A full list of participating locations is provided below:
