An inmate death reported in Western North Carolina Wednesday.
Authorities say a possible drug overdose is the cause of death of an inmate, now identified as 37-year-old Robert Dean Fowler, which occurred last week.
An investigation is now underway by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation to determine the circumstances of the death and identify any possible involved individuals.
