Two inmates are facing charges after a gang style attack at an Upstate jail. SLED says the assault happened at the Greenville County Detention Center.
Inmates Calvin Lee Thompson Jr. and Tishone Dunlap-Wright are both charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy, and assault by mob. Both men were already being held on attempted murder charges when the attack happened.
Officials say the victim suffered blunt force trauma, severe internal bleeding and will have to undergo surgery to have organs removed.
