Inmates who escaped from Georgia jail now back in custody

Three inmates who escaped from an Atlanta area jail are back in custody. The trio who Officials say, escaped the Dekalb County jail in Decatur Monday, have been apprehended.

Fox 5 in Atlanta reports, that the "Dekalb Three" were re-arrested shortly after midnight, Tuesday. Details surrounding the arrests are under wraps, no information has yet been released.

All three were being held on multiple charges ranging from armed robbery to arson and other crimes Authorities were most focused on getting Stevenson Charles back behind bars.

He's charged or convicted of murder, aggravated assault and rape of a child under the age of 10. Now, back in custody, the trio will face additional charges.

The investigation continues into how the three managed to escape the jail in the first place, there's been no details released, as of this time.
