A suspicious death investigation is ongoing after a man was found dead in Spartanburg, Tuesday evening. The Coroner's Office responded to the area of Pinecrest Road and found the man dead after his body had been burned.
The victim has been identified as 34 year old, Maquez Bernard Greer of Anderson. The incident is being investigated as a suspicious death.
A forensic exam is slated for tomorrow to determine more details about the death. No arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report.
