An investigation is ongoing after a house fire in the Upstate. The Greer Fire Department was dispatched around 7:30 Thursday night to a home on Pinewood Drive.
Fire crews arrived and found the home already ablaze. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in less than an hour and by 830 the fire was fully contained.
Crews from the Pelham Batesville, Tyger River and Taylors Fire Departments all responded to the scene. No injuries were reported from the fire and the cause of the fire has not yet been released.
