An investigation is underway following a stabbing in the Upstate this morning. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported stabbing on Perigon Court in Greenville just before 10:30 AM.
Deputies found a man there who had been stabbed and they say a female suspect fled the scene prior to their arrival. The victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for what the Sheriff's Office called serious injuries. No arrests have been announced in the case and there's been no word on the victim's condition.
The Sheriff's Office says the investigation is in its early stages and no further information was made available as of the time of this report.
