A ribbon cutting was held in Greenville Wednesday morning for new affordable housing units. The event began around 10 AM and was held at Cowan Court .
Mayor Knox White, State Representative Chandra Dillard and Greenville City Councilman Ken Gibson were on hand with other officials. The City Of Greenville donated the land on Cowan Court.
The city's Community Development Program and United Bank provided over $350,000 in funds for project. Over the last 5 years, Greenville has invested over 10 million in affordable housing.
